Chile and the World Cup

This is the first time in twelve years that Chile classifies to the World Cup and this year it’s in South Africa. Chile has playing with Honduras and Switzerland and on Fridays plays with Spain. If Chile wins the match goes to the second round (then we will play against Brazil). I´m sure that Chile will win!
My favorites players are Humberto Suazo , Mark Gonzalez and Alexis Sanchez (he is so handsome!). I saw two matches in my school, we were so happy because Chile won. We shouted, jumped and celebrated.
I really like football, it’s an exciting and interesting sport and I like that a lot of countries play it, for example in the World Cup. Also is a very good opportunity for de country to unite in a common cause.
Many people celebrate with barbecues, parties or simply with bear and good shouting like CHI-CHI- CHI- LE LE-LE! VIVA CHILE! When I hear the people shouting, I get very happy!
I hope that Chile will win de World Cup 2010, or will win the World Cup 2014 (it’s will be in Brazil).

My clothes

When I was a little girl I used to wear dresses. Every day I wore a different dress. But now I use a dress only when I go to an important event, for example a birthday or a party on weekend.
Normally I wear jeans, a t-shirt, a sweater and sneakers or boots.
But I have different clothes for different situations. For example, when I go to school I wear a blouse, my jumper (it’s long, because in the school the nuns scold me if the jumper isn´t long enough), the school sweater, my anorak, long socks and black shoes. When I have a formal party I wear a short dress and high heel shoes. Everybody says that my dresses are too shorts, but I think that they are long enough. I prefer the very high heels because my legs are shorts. If the heels are too low my legs look not good. When I go to the gym or do exercise I wear jogging trousers, a white t-shirt and sneakers. In summer I used to wear shorts, but now in winter I use long jogging trousers, of course!
I hate the wide trousers. They are out and I look fat when I use them !

My ideal house.

My ideal house is a modern flat in a good neighborhood. I want a flat with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a small dining room and a small living room. I want to live with a friend.
I prefer the modern decoration. Modern pictures, modern sofas and big vases with beautiful flowers. My flat will be colourful, I find this very important.
In my bedroom I want to have wood floor, but with a furry white rug. The walls must be white too. The bedspread will be white and the cushions will be colourful. Next to the bed will be a wood night table with a lamp. I want to have a big closet and the curtains will be very beautiful with a modern design. I think I will buy a television and a DVD too. And of course, I will have a big mirror into my walking closet.
I prefer that my apartment is small so that my friends do not ask me to do parties.

My favourite book

My favourite book is called "Mi planta de naranja-lima" from José Mauro de Vasconcelos. I read this book last year on December, when I had hollidays and I had time to read. For example while I was lying on the beach, while I was going to Santo Domingo, or while I was doing exercices I read my book.
The book is about a brazilian kid, Zezé, who lives with his family. He was a very naughty kid and his family punished and hit him, also he decided to speak with a little tree, an orange-lime tree (he called her new friend Minguito) and Zezé spoke with Minguito about his problems. this tree was the only friend and the only "toy" wich Zezé has, because his family was very poor.
When he was four years old he went to school. A day like any other Zezé knew Portuga (an old and rich man) and they were good friends. Portuga was the only person who help Zezé. Portuga helps Zezé with the school, with her problems and also they go to the café together. But after some months, while the kid was playing on the street, a train ran over Portuga and he died. The little kid was so sad and Minguito was his only friend, again.

Letter to the editor of a newspaper: TV programs.

Dear Editor,
I’m writing to express my indignation about the soap opera “Celos”, from Canal 12. This program is showed on TV at 2:00 pm, when children have just arrived from school, and it contains a lot of sex scenes, what in my opinion and the opinion of many parents is very inappropriate.
Last Tuesday my 6-year-old daughter came from de TV room and asked me why was naked people on TV. I got really nervous and really didn’t know how to reply to her question. I just told her that she probably saw something she shouldn’t and that people shouldn’t be naked. I don’t know what was on her mind at that moment.
The fact is that the channel is being very imprudent, since that is not the only program that shows that kind of scenes, and children are frequently watching them. I think Canal 12 should put those programs on TV at night, at an adequate time, so that our kids don’t watch things they shouldn’t at their age, and most important, things that could damage somehow their minds.

My worst illness.

When I was 13, I had rotavirus. It was terrible!
First, I felt sick, I had a temperature, headache and stomachache.
My mother said "that's not a seriously illness", but she was wrong...
Two days later I went to the doctor, he said that I had rotavirus and I had to stay in bed until I was healthy.
Also, I was TWO WEEKS in bed! First it was great, I watched TV, played some computer games and read some books. But the second week was realy awful... Computer games and books don´t enjoyed me more, I had a lot of homeworks for school that I didn´t and I felt sick.
Fortunately on Friday I felt better, I don´t had a temperature and don´t had stomachache, and my mother said "if you are healthy on Sunday, you can go to school on monday". I was realy happy!
On monday I went to school and all my friends hug(?) me!

My ideal wedding

My ideal wedding is in the caribbean. With a simple dress and a hairstyle with little white flowers.
First,a ceremony on the beach, but only with my family, the groom's family and our best friends.
Then, a tropically dinner at the hotel and then a big party in the swimming pool with all our friends and a band who play good music.
The decoration must be tropicaly, of course ! with palms, flowers, colourful balloons and necklaces with flowers !
After the party everybody stays at the hotel ( with all inclusive ;) ).

For my honeymoon I want to go to India, I want to meet the Taj mahal ! and also I want to go to Greece and Turkey, there I want to meet the Blue Mosque.
